Pattern of Services in the Buckland Newton, Cerne Abbas, Godmanstone and Minterne Magna Parishes

Visitors and friends will be welcome to join us at worship in any of the four churches in our Benefice.

Services follow the pattern shown below - see Christmas Arrangements at foot of table:

Christmas Services 2007 at Holy Rood Church, Buckland Newton:

Sunday 2nd December, 11.00 am. Advent Carol Service - a lovely service of hymns and readings.
Sunday 16th December, 6.30 pm. Annual Carol Service, with the combined choirs of Buckland Newton and Cerne Abbas.
Sunday 23rd December, 9.30 am. Family Service - refreshments after the service.
Sunday 23rd December, 10.30 am. Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer) - refreshments before the service at 10.00 am.
Monday 24th December, 6.30 pm. Christingle Service; a favourite service for everyone, in aid of the Children's Society.
Tuesday 25th December, 9.30 am. Christmas Day Service - Holy Communion (Common Worship).
Sunday 30th December, 11.00 am. Benefice Communion at Holy Rood, led by Brother Kevin.

The Service on the fifth Sunday rotates around the four churches. In 2008 it will be as follows -

29^th June 2008 Cerne Abbas

31st August 2008 Minterne

30th November 2008 Buckland Newton
