1. The screen is difficult to read; can I increase the font size?
Yes. At the top of the screen, click on 'View'. If you are using Internet Explorer, then click on 'Text Size' and select 'Larger' or 'Largest' For Netscape or Mozilla users, click on 'View', 'Text Zoom' and select the magnification you want. For Opera users, click on 'View', 'Zoom' and select the magnification you want.
2. How do I print from the website?
Only the main part of the screen will print - the top, left and bottom borders will be omitted. First click in the main part of the screen to ensure that this is the part that is printed. Click on 'File' at the top of the screen, then 'Page Setup'. Click on 'Landscape' for the Orientation. Click OK then either click on the Printer icon at the top of the screen or click on 'File' then 'Print'.
3. When printing, I only get the list of links printed.
Be sure to click in the main part of the screen before clicking on 'File', 'Print'
4. When printing, the right hand part of the text is lost.
Before printing, click on 'File' at the top of the screen, then 'Page Setup'. Make sure that 'Landscape' format is selected in Orientation.
5. Can I copy the photographs used on the website?
The photographs may be used for private purposes only. They are copyright of the originators and may not be used for commercial purposes without the written permission of the copyright owners.
6. Which browsers work with the website?
The website has been tested with Internet Explorer 6.0 (SP1), Netscape 6.0/7.0, Mozilla 1.1 and Opera 6.5
7. I'm getting messages about 'Java'. What does this mean?
To work correctly, the website needs to use Javascript. It's possible your Internet Firewall is blocking these and you need to adjust the settings in your Firewall or Internet Browser.
8. Do I need 'Frames' for the website to work?
The website is designed to work best with 'Frames' enabled. If your browser does not allow Frames, the site will still work but will not be as effective.
9. Does the website capture personal information?
Unless you e-mail us or complete the 'Feedback' page, no information is collected by the website which could identify you personally.
10. I have upgraded to Windows XP Service Pack 2. Windows now seems to be blocking parts of the website and/or not displaying correctly.
This is as a result of the increased security built in to Service Pack 2 of Windows XP, this site may not display correctly unless you allow Active X controls and Javascript to execute. You can do this by clicking on the new Security Information bar at the top of the browser window; click 'Allow Blocked Content' and click 'Yes'. This then allows the rotating photographs on the Home page to appear. There is nothing sinister in this site!
